The Michelin-starred Labombe offers not only a delicious seasonal menu with treats such as king oyster gildas, buttery seabass crudo and deliciously crisp bottarga toast, but also a minimalistic and stylish space with a rotating art collection. The intimate restaurant was opened in the Como Metropolitan in 2025 by Jonny Lake and Isa Bal, the duo behind the two-Michelin-star Trivet in Bermondsey. The menu leans towards simple, high-quality ingredients with regular use of the kitchen’s large fire grill, and the wine list — curated by Isa Bal and Philipp Reinstaller — is extensive, European-led and often has rare finds.

At the back of the room you’ll find the private dining space, which accommodates up to twelve guests, compared with the sixty who can be seated in the restaurant. What’s great about the space is that it is separated from the main room with glass doors, meaning you can close it off and feel like you’re in your own setting without being so isolated you miss out on the excitement of what’s going on on the restaurant’s main floor.
